Youtube Inspiration

Much like most designers, I find inspiration from the most unexpected places. In this case I found it on Youtube. My inspiration was drawn from a kid who decided to sing a Slipknot song in a cappella. The situation was very unique to me, hence this drawing. I don't see myself using this for anything, but drawings like this expands my range of character design. It is like drawing people at a cafe or at the park, only I don't have to leave my couch. I know, that sounds lazy because it is. But sometimes the internet is a great source of material.

Inventive Character: Work in Progress

Here are some characters I am currently still developing. I wasn't completely satisfied with the turnout, but I love the costume design. Now I have to take it to the more "expressive" stages.

Ollie's Home

Here is the finished piece. It's a really poor scan and I think I took it a little too far with the drawing. I'll do better on the next one.
